Ahvi is an upbeat, kind individual who will accept any companion, reguardless of their background. She's a bright eyed, curious miqo'te who is usually tossing out playful jabs while laughing with her friends, hardly a care in the world.
This fun-loving miqo'te may seem a little intimidating, with her arm length tattoos, and sharp claws and teeth, but she's actually quite a softie.

Backstory
Ahvi was raised in an orphanage near Gridania, never leaving the place until she came of age. Despite her less than ideal upbringing, she kept an optimistic attitude, learning how to stay positive in the worst of situations. Ahvi still acts somewhat childish, due to being surrounded by children until recent years, but has grown up a little since leaving, when she was sixteen, having been taken into a Sage's tutelage. After a few years under his guiding, Ahvi learned what little healing she had the talent for and was rescued from his keeping. With her newly learned magic, she explored her options, but never truly found a place to call home. Ahvi does what she can, helping what she has the knowledge of, but she's no healer. She often wanders back to the old orphanage near Gridania, visiting her little brothers and sisters, helping out with some of the sick children where she can, as it's the only place she's known as a home.
Ahvi's Tutleage
(A darker history)
Ahvi left the orphanage for tutleage, with an unfortunately disreputable man. The one she called Master did teach her some important things, like shielding those around her and even the ability to draw sickness from others, but not in the most conventional of ways. He experimented with different forms of magic, and different ways to use spells that were not taught to the general public. In her case, she had no skill doing either of the fore mentioned magics, but he taught her ways to work around her inabilities. Normally one would target a sickness from someone and dispel it from them. Ahvi however could only pull their sickness from her patient and transfer it elsewhere. Her Mentor put her through hell, having her pull the misery of others unto herself, using her as a test subject for his unknown plots. One day he disappeared, leaving her and several other unfortunate underlings for dead. Luckily for them, a group of Twin Adders raided his estate a few days after his disappearance, and rescued the group. After a few long weeks of healing and rehabilitation, each of them were back to proper health.Ahvi to this day cannot heal properly, and has trouble remembering those years with her Mentor. Her only knowledge and ability comes from transferring pain from others onto herself (or others), so she only deals with healing small things, unable to handle anything like she endured those two years beneath that Sage.
Abilities
Ahvi suffers from a unique mutation that hinders her ability to use most forms of magic normally. As a result, she often struggles to learn and incorporate new spells into her repertoire. However, she has been taught (and discovered herself) unconventional methods of utilizing aether that often leaves her worse for wear. Despite this mutation limiting her magical capabilities, when the situation demands it, Ahvi proves to be quite a formidable mage.
Known Mutations
Esuna (Mutation) - Ahvi's Esuna doesn't cleanse her intended patient as it normally would, it instead extracts their ailments and transfers them to herself (or another).
Healing (Mutation) - Ahvi's healing magic doesn't just take a cost on her mana, but on her physical stamina as well. Healing even the smallest of wounds is exhausting for her. Even with such an impairment, the potency of her magic is without question.

Due to Ahvi's kind attitude and impressionable personality, she's been lead to do some unforgivable things. Such things have caused small rifts in her mind, and during times of stress, she slips into a state of disassociation, a subconscious defense to get away from those bad memories. She doesn't remember these small episodes and thinks herself to be just a bit forgetful. This has caused strain with most of her relationships, as she's sometimes hurt people while in these episodes of depersonalization. Her sometimes over the top sweetness is an attempt to be normal, while not knowing exactly what is wrong with herself. She has a hard time trusting herself, given what she's been told, and keeps herself distanced emotionally from almost everyone.
